Religious Education for children begins on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 10:00 am. This first session of Religious School will be followed by a "pizza picnic" at 11:30 am. with games and fun for everyone. Sunday, September 21 at 2:00 pm.: A premier screening of "Chosen Towns", a new one-hour documentary about Jewish life in Wisconsin's small communities. This film will be shown on Wisconsin Public Television at a later date. After the showing, enjoy a "talk-back" with one of the film's producers. Some scenes were filmed at Mt. Sinai, so you could show up on television. [The time for the screening is listed incorrectly in the September newsletter. 2:00 pm. is the correct time.]

Mt. Sinai is affiliated with the Union For Reform Judaism (URJ). We have over 90 member familes living in 7 counties in north central Wisconsin. Some of the cities and towns where members live are Wausau, Stevens Point, Marshfield, and Minocqua.
